To celebrate the beginning of their love story at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, where Arpita and Viral met and fell in love, they chose to have their gorgeous ceremony and reception at The Heldrich in New Brunswick, NJ. The Bride had selected a Black & Pink wedding theme which was reflected in the event details down to the bridal party wardrobe. To ensure her ladies looked equally gorgeous, the bride didn’t hesitate to book Style My Sari for her sari draper needs. We draped the bride, maid of honor and 6 lovely bridesmaids in flowy sarees, selected by the bride. Each one of them looked simply beautiful. Thank you making us an integral part of your big day!

Set on a farm in Central NJ, one of my bridesmaids, Kiran, married her love, Georgios; bringing together Hindu and Greek cultures to create a symphony of traditional customs with modern flair. They had a church ceremony at a Greek Orthodox church with 8 Bridesmaids and a Hindu ceremony in the garden under 100 year-old vines with another 9 bridesmaids. The farmhouse was back dropped by an old water tower, some barns and fields of flowers and other crops. I got the bride ready for her afternoon ceremony and the reception outfit change as well as 9 bridesmaids and the groom’s sister. Being in the wedding, I had a little help from my girlfriends. Here are a few pictures of the lovely ladies.

“As a destination bride, I had a lot on my plate, but Kavita took one of the most important tasks off my shoulders — making sure that my mom, my bridesmaids and I were all perfectly draped in our saris. Knowing that I had Kavita’s expertise and drive for perfection, put my mind at ease before walking down the aisle. Thank you Kavita! You’re the best!” – Sejal Shah, Washington, DC
Sejal and Jay had a tropical outdoor wedding overlooking the bay at the Waldorf El Conquistador in Fajardo Puerto Rico. They met doing what they both love, dancing. Their marriage theme, “Live, Love, Dance” describe them perfectly. To compliment the gentle breezes of the November climate, the Bride, her Mother, her Maid of Honor and Bridesmaids were draped in light flowy saree fabrics harmonizing with the exotic destination.
